MEET THE OWNERS
Hello and welcome to one of our homes in Big Canoe GA.
We hope you enjoy our stay.
A little about us.
Ling’s - journey started in China before she immigrated to Canada over 25 years ago. With hard work and determination, she built a successful career as a visual effects artist, contributing her talent to movies like Star Trek, Star Wars, and Spider-Man. After years of working in the film industry, Ling moved to Atlanta in 2021, where we began our life together.
With Ling’s eye for detail and our shared passion for creating welcoming spaces, we’re thrilled to offer a cozy stay where you can unwind and feel at home. Whether you’re here to explore or simply relax, we’re here to help make your visit comfortable and memorable!
Brad Kalinoski’s - journey has been one of bold moves and creative leaps. Originally from Huntington, WV, Brad first served as a nurse for ten years. But in 1996, ready for change, he sold everything and drove cross-country to North Hollywood, CA, to pursue his passion for film. Within two weeks, Brad landed a role in R&D on an ambitious Warner Brothers project with Jim Carrey—though the film was shelved, the technology Brad developed went on to power groundbreaking effects in Spider-Man, Lord of the Rings, and more.
Today, Brad’s career spans 30 years, with over 107 feature films and TV credits to his name, including hits like Walking Dead, The Matrix, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Black Swan, for which he received a BAFTA nomination. He’s also been recognized by the Visual Effects Society for his work on LOST. After heading several VFX studios, Brad has reopened his own boutique in Atlanta, GA, where he provides cutting-edge visual effects for productions worldwide.
At home, Brad enjoys time with his family, including his 12-year-old who speaks English and Chinese, plays piano, and creates YouTube videos, and his 32-year-old daughter, Olivia, who lives with her spouse in Ohio. Brad’s dedication to his craft and his warm, welcoming spirit make him a unique host excited to share his space and Atlanta’s charm with you.
